A channel line, which is used to depict the trading range of the market, is drawn parallel to a trendline. In a situation in which channel lines are used, the market will move between the upper and lower trendlines. Channel lines can be either rising or falling. Channel lines can slope in any direction and can be either narrow or wide, depending on the market's current volatility. |
