Palantir: The Company That Knows All Our Secrets
Palantir Technologies Inc (PLTR) is a large cap technology company involved in collecting and analyzing large amounts of data. The company gets its name from the J.R.R. Tolkien fantasy novel "The Lord of the Rings." The Palantiri were the seven indestructible crystal balls which were brought to middle earth and used to communicate and view past and present events remotely. But Tolkien cautions that the use of the Palantiri can also deceive the user which can cause the drawing of false conclusions and lead to disastrous actions.
