Interview: Adam Packard: Futures, Simplified
With experience in virtually every aspect of the commodity futures industry from phone clerk to vice president of operations, Adam Packard can be considered a "go to" person when it comes to learning about trading futures. He received a B.A. in economics from The Ohio State University in 1992 and has continued his futures education by taking several courses at the Chicago Mercantile Exchange over the years. He attained his Series 3 commodity brokerage license in 1992 and became a full-time broker in 1993 working for his father's company. He was a broker in Chicago for 10 years before moving to Florida and opening his own Introducing Brokerage company in 2002. In 2006 he relocated back to Chicago and joined The Zaner Group. Currently he is VP, Operations for Zaner, running its order desk and risk management departme
