Fred Meissner, CMT, is the founder and president of The FRED Report. His professional career spans 33 years in the investment business, including serving as president of the Market Technicians Association from 2002 to 2004. His background encompasses market analysis, trading strategies/portfolio management, and business development/relationship management in diverse environments. He holds a BS degree in business administration (with a minor in economics) from Trinity University in San Antonio, TX, and an MA degree from The University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) in Latin American studies with an interdisciplinary curriculum of international business, history, and sociology. Currently, Meissner publishes The FRED Report (www.thefred-report.com), offers a consulting service for financial advisors, and speaks extensively around the world on market analysis and the markets
